Description:
The film offers a glimpse inside a maximum-security prison in Corcoran, California. Security cameras capture prisoners in shorts and often shirtless during their limited daily time in the concrete yard. When a fight erupts between inmates, others quickly drop to the ground, arms raised. Guards issue warnings before deploying rubber bullets; if the violence persists, live ammunition is used. The footage is silent, punctuated only by the drift of smoke from the gunfire. The camera and the weapon are positioned in close proximity.
