Nuremberg 45 (2025)

In late 1945, the Nuremberg trials of Nazi leaders like Göring, Hess, and Ribbentrop commenced. The film follows Ernst Michel, a young Jewish reporter, and Seweryna Szmaglewska, a concentration camp survivor, as they grapple with their lingering traumas and unsettling revelations exposed during the trial. Carsten Gutschmidt's docudrama blends dramatized scenes, flashbacks, restored archival footage, and contemporary interviews with witnesses and their descendants visiting the original trial locations to offer their perspectives.
