Description:
Inspired by true events, *Solos* examines the complex relationships between three people who struggle to express their emotions. Co-directed by Kan Lume and Loo Zihan, this film portrays the self-centeredness of love and its devastating consequences. Set in modern Singapore, *Solos* follows Boy, Man, and Mother. Boy (Loo Zihan), who has been in a long-term relationship with Man (Lim Yu Beng), decides he wants to end it. Man desires to remain with Boy and build a life together. Mother (Goh Guat Kian) is heartbroken by her son's decision to leave her for Man. As each character battles their inner struggles, *Solos* blends realistic and surreal imagery to hint at their hidden desires. The film relies on minimal dialogue, allowing viewers to interpret the story as they see fit.
