Fu-yan, also known as Fujikawa, produces underground videos that are secretly distributed by electronics store owner Umeda and his wife Makiko. Umeda asks Fu-yan to make a new video featuring the lecherous Kikuchi. Enticed by the large payment, Fu-yan travels by ferry with Makiko's stepdaughter, Megumi. On the ferry, he rescues a woman named Yumeko from attempting suicide. Seeing a chance to give her purpose, Fu-yan takes Yumeko to Kikuchi, intending to make her the star of an underground video. They begin filming, following Kikuchi’s script, and with Fu-yan's support, Yumeko completes the film. A bond forms between Fu-yan and Yumeko, but...
