Invitation (2003)

Jafar, a bank employee contemplating his finances as he receives invitations to five weddings, finds himself in a desperate predicament – money troubles once again. Unexpectedly, an earthquake provides Jafar with a reprieve from these social obligations. The film offers a critique of excessive customs and traditions surrounding weddings and funerals, prompting reflection on the proverb, "Extend your leg according to your blanket."
