College friends Soo-yeong and Hae-soo are caught in a complicated web of romantic feelings: Soo-yeong is drawn to Che-moo, who is in love with Hae-soo. Hae-soo, however, is interested in Dae-in, who is attracted to Soo-yeong. The tangled affections lead to unexpected marriages. Years later, Hae-soo desires a child and seeks intimacy with her husband, Dae-in, unaware he cannot have children. He secretly proposes a surprising solution to Soo-yeong's husband, Che-moo.
