La savia del algarrobo (2000)

This documentary follows Don Sixto Palavecino, an elderly peasant musician and a key figure in native music. He journeys from the dry region of Northwest Argentina, specifically Santiago del Estero, to the city. His aim is to reach the radio and share his traditional Quichua language, which has been preserved by the local community for over four hundred years.
