Description:
Porky runs a farm, working the fields and raising poultry, as advertised by his sign: "For sale: Miracle eggs – if it's a good egg, it's a miracle." A rabbit, who does a Jack Benny imitation, paints and examines the eggs. He's about to discard a black egg when it hatches into a black baby bird doing a Rochester impression. Meanwhile, the Eddie Cackler family (a man resembling Eddie Cantor) desperately wants a son. Their next five eggs hatch into girls. A man who looks like Bing Crosby arrives with a stroller full of sons, and Eddie asks for his secret. The man demonstrates by singing to a chick, which then lays dozens of eggs with boys' names on them. Eddie sings to his wife in a higher voice and dances, singing the theme song to various caricatures. An egg hatches, and when Eddie asks if it’s really a boy, the baby replies, "Mmmm... could be."
