The River (2024)

Grief-stricken after his father's death, Mirko is haunted by nightmares. His mother, Vesna, struggles as a single parent and finds solace in the friendship of their neighbor, Jova. Mirko grows increasingly resentful of their closeness, leading to conflict with his mother. Everything changes with the arrival of Mirko’s childhood friend, Marina, for the summer. A connection sparks between them, offering Mirko a sense of hope and prompting him to see his mother with newfound empathy.
