Umamusume: Pretty Derby ~Sprinters' Story~ is the first stage play in the Umamusume franchise. Announced on November 5, 2022, after its initial reveal on August 21, 2022, the play features an original story penned by Cygames and directed by Akiko Kodama. It centers on Daitaku Helios, with appearances from Daiichi Ruby, K.S. Miracle, and Yamanin Zephyr, depicting horse racing through live performances. The stage play ran at Tokyo's Shinagawa Prince Hotel from January 15 to January 29, 2023, with a total of fifteen performances planned before being largely cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
