After a miraculous recovery from a fatal illness, a woman finds herself grappling with an existential crisis. She had accepted death and even anticipated it, and now is overwhelmed by the burden of life. She begins to fantasize about being something other than herself, growing increasingly envious of her happy golden retriever, Walter. Obsessed with Walter's seemingly perfect existence, she neglects her own. While she struggles to embrace life, Walter embarks on an adventure of his own.
