Description:
Through his personal recollections, Giorgos recounts moments of action and personality from his mother, Lela Karagianni, the Resistance legend known as "Bouboulina." While she was wanted by the Germans, Giorgos secretly met with her to support the fight. Even amidst the hardships of occupation, he found tenderness and affection from his mother, who remained a devoted parent. Rare footage from occupied Athens is interwoven with Giorgos’ memories, which still evoke the scent of Lela Karagianni's favorite perfume, "Violetta di Parma."
