The Robbers (2009)

On Boxing Day, Karen is already focused on making resolutions for everyone else. The family has been burgled, but only certain items were taken, leading Sue to falsify the insurance claim. Sue and Jake go to pick up their Grandad from the retirement home, only to discover he's at the pub with his friend Mac. Sue invites Mac to dinner, but his accent creates communication difficulties for Karen. Sue’s divorced friend Jane is also invited, though her gift to the children – a goat donated to Oxfam – is not well-received. Pete feels sympathy for Jane and appreciates the Brockmans' Christmas charity work, until a police officer arrives with another missing elderly man.
