Description:
Hound Dog Man is a story set in the early 1900s about Spud Kinney, a young man who frequently disobeys his mother. Instead of tending the family farm, he goes hunting with his older brother Clint and their friend Blackie Scantling in the mountains. There, Spud falls for a beautiful mountain girl, while Blackie has affairs with two women: Nita Stringer and an older married woman named Sussie Bell.
