Description:
This claymation adaptation of a classic fairy tale features choral voices. Bluebeard, a man who has lost all six of his wives, seeks a new bride. He arrives at a widow's house with two daughters and, despite being widely feared, secures their mother's consent with a large dowry. One daughter refuses him, but the other accepts. The new bride finds solace in the castle's rose garden. When war breaks out, Bluebeard departs to fight, leaving her with the keys and a warning: never enter the forbidden room. While he's away, she discovers hidden riches within the castle and ultimately disobeys his command. Will Bluebeard learn of her actions? And can she survive the consequences?
