Description:
In 1877, on the remote island of Outer Senja, a young girl is discovered unconscious on the beach after a storm. She is revived, but has no memory of her past – no one knows her name or where she's from. The villagers call her "Båremor," or "The Girl from the Sea." A fisherman and his wife take her in, and they soon notice she possesses unusual talents, including a remarkable gift for playing the organ. Feeling like an outsider, the girl is determined to find her origins. She flees and finds refuge with Borr, a notorious wanderer wanted by the authorities. Together, they evade the sheriff and the priest while searching for her lost home.
