The Knowing of Ali (2011)

After the American bombings in Iraq killed his father, Ali sees a chance for revenge. He goes to America, posing as a student, and uses his intelligence to build a bomb for a terrorist group planning an attack on Hollywood. But when he befriends his host family's daughter, Ali begins to doubt his actions. He questions whether his motives are truly his own, driven by revenge, religion, or something else entirely – and if his path aligns with the values his father instilled in him.
