Génération FLNC (2002)

Today, they celebrate their 50th birthday. For the past thirty years, they have opposed Paris and its governments. Beginning with student protests in the 1970s demanding a university in Corsica, they have consistently escalated their activism. They founded the Corsican National Liberation Front and conducted hundreds of bombings and commando actions to aggressively pursue a claim of cultural identity. Some have retired from armed struggle, while others remain involved in clandestine activities. Now, they feel it's time for them to explain their actions and offer their perspective. This film tells their story.
