Description:
Raoul, a farmer in the Aveyron region, decides to sell his farm, Biquefarre, as farming becomes increasingly difficult. Two neighbors, Lucien and Marcel, are interested in buying it. Henri, Lucien's brother-in-law and Marcel's father's brother, secretly works with Raoul to help Marcel's father make a more attractive offer. Will their plan succeed? The film also depicts the demanding realities of farming: daily chores like milking and harvesting, and the challenges of finding labor during times of illness. Meanwhile, progress in agriculture brings new problems: water pollution, large-scale farming, and rising land costs.
