The Making of Weathering with You (2020)

This documentary offers an in-depth look at the creation of *Weathering with You*. The filmmakers had complete access to the production, providing a rare behind-the-scenes view of how an anime feature film is made. From casting the voice actors and the director's early collaborations with the cast and crew, through the animation process – including compositing, backgrounds, temporary audio, 3D modeling, computer animation – to production meetings and the development of the film's songs with RADWIMPS, the documentary covers every stage, culminating in the promotional tour for the finished film.
