Red Heart (2001)

Founded in the late 14th century, the Joseon Dynasty faces escalating threats from Dansim, a resistance group from the overthrown Goryeo Dynasty. When the Minister of Justice is assassinated, Vice Minister of War Park Je-myeong is blamed. Facing danger, Park Je-myeong seeks help from Hwang In-seo, Dansim's second-in-command, who is seeking naturalization. Together with his son Do-wook, a junior official, Park Je-myeong undertakes a critical mission to secure the government's future. The mission fails due to Lee Mu-yeong, leading to Park Je-myeong’s suicide. Do-wook’s relentless pursuit brings him into a confrontation with Mu-yeong, resulting in devastating consequences.
