Description:

This stunning fantasy, inspired by Alexander Pushkin's verse fairy tale, tells a story of love, magic, betrayal, and a broken family. The young Tsarina is exiled from the Russian court due to her sisters' plots and cast adrift at sea with her baby son in a barrel. After surviving a violent storm, mother and son reach a remote island where he falls for a Swan Princess who appears as a woman and yearns to reunite with his father, Tsar Saltan. News of the Tsar arrives with merchants, and the prince sends a message, but his sisters continue to deceive them and keep them separated.
