Amity (2012)

A recently divorced Air Force sergeant rents a limousine to celebrate his daughter's high school graduation. When she rebuffs his attempts to connect, he finds himself bonding with the limo driver, a fellow divorced Army veteran. As they drink and open up, their friendship takes a turn toward unsettling violence. Throughout a tense night filled with misadventures and confrontations, their conversations reveal the deep pain of the father's rejection. *Amity* offers a stark look at a fragile masculinity marked by insecurity, aggression, and a sense of helplessness, reminiscent of Neil Labute's early films.
