Description:
Anton, a 30-year-old artist with a penchant for forgery – paintings, money, you name it – lives a life marked by cynicism and a disregard for others. He has few allies and many foes, and is deeply in debt to the ruthless gangster Sofia. Her enforcer, Stambata, is hunting him down. Just as Anton finds himself trapped, Major Georgi Stoyanov, an ambitious and clever but morally flexible police officer, offers a deal: infiltrate the wealthy Maria, a patron of the arts, and discover if she possesses the missing Picasso painting, "Harlequin." In exchange, Anton will buy himself time from Sofia. A dangerous game of deception unfolds, where only the most cunning will prevail, and the ultimate reward is Picasso's priceless masterpiece.
