The Story of Detective Zhan Zhao (2025)

During the fourth year of Jiayou in the Northern Song Dynasty, a major scandal involving private salt operations revealed a treacherous plot. Zhang Kejiu, the Huainan Transport Commissioner, was found to be working with the Liao people, betraying the empire. Zhan Zhao of Kaifeng Prefecture was tasked with his arrest. Alerted to the danger by Liao scouts, Zhang Kejiu fled quickly. A wider conflict, concealed within the private salt case, was on the verge of erupting.
