Description:
Based on a 17th-century Chinese erotic novel, the film follows Mio, a writer who achieves unexpected success with his pornographic book, *Flesh Futon*. Using his newfound wealth, Mio embraces nightlife, claiming it's for research to his wife. However, his reputation is ruined when a prostitute makes a derogatory comment about his size. Further misfortunes follow: his book is banned, and his wife restricts him. At his lowest point, his house is robbed, and he encounters the thief, who is the legendary Japanese folk hero Nezumi Kozō. The two form an unlikely friendship, and Kozō connects Mio with a doctor offering penis enlargement surgery. With his enhanced physique, Mio and Kozō frequent the red-light district, until the real Nezumi Kozō appears, bringing renewed misfortune to Mio.
