Sorrowful Córdoba (2015)

Set in Córdoba and Madrid, Spain, the story follows Elio, a celebrated matador engaged to his teacher Navarro’s daughter. His life appears idyllic until a reunion with his first love, Eva, at a party. Eva is now married to a nobleman and has recently been widowed, becoming involved with Ricardo Romero. Meanwhile, Elio's friend Vicente repeatedly cheats on married women, ignoring Elio's warnings, until he is discovered. After winning a duel, Elio loses his career as a matador and vanishes.
