This is a unique behind-the-scenes look at the making of *Central do Brasil* during its 1997 filming in Vitória da Conquista. The ProVídeo Uesb team gained exclusive access, capturing candid moments and interviews with the cast, crew, and director Walter Sales. This video preserves rare footage from a pivotal film in Brazil's Cinema da Retomada movement. Originally conceived by cultural producer Jorge Melquisedeque, the project was completed after his death in 2001. Raw footage was recovered in 2002 and edited into a tribute program for the Indiscreet Window Cine Vídeo Uesb Program, with a script by Marcelo Lopes based on Melquisedeque's writings about the period and directed by Esmon Primo.
