Description:
Yukari, a 27-year-old anime fan, especially of the yakiniku-themed series "Meat is Mine," meets Rai, a beautiful but mysterious bar hostess. As they become friends and roommates in Kabukicho, Yukari worries about Rai's self-neglect and frequent talk of death. Hoping to help Rai, Yukari tries to find her ex-boyfriend, believing he holds the key to her emotional struggles. Meanwhile, pressured by her mother, Yukari also pursues a relationship with an ordinary guy, convinced love will solve her problems. However, she finds herself spending increasing amounts of time with Asahi, a friendly and outgoing host club worker who is already married. Based on the novel by Hitomi Kanehara.
