Description:
In 1927 Republic of China, young Yu Zi Xiao and her mother were captured for being mermaids. A young man saved Zi Xiao that day. A century later, during a devastating storm in an apocalyptic future, Zi Xiao journeys to land to find him and express her gratitude. She encounters Gao Hong Tai, who bears a striking resemblance to the young man. As they spend time together, they fall in love. However, Zi Xiao is still hunted by the man who captured her long ago, and humanity's end is approaching. Zi Xiao may be humankind's only hope. What will become of her, her love, and the future of humanity?
