Description:
Millionaire Ram Khanna is told by a phony astrologer that he will marry a woman whose name begins with "M." He meets Mamta, and they fall in love. Despite her mother, Heerabai, being a prostitute, Ram marries Mamta and brings her home. She faces hostility from Ram's brother, Murli Manohar, and his wife, Maya. Mamta asserts herself, taking control of the household and eventually forcing Murli and Maya to leave. Soon after, Mamta and Ram have a son. One day, Ram asks Mamta to safeguard a suitcase of money while he's away. She is lured from the house, killed by a hired assassin named Gulu Goli, and buried. Though dead, Mamta’s spirit remains, unseen and unheard. Determined to expose Murli and Maya, she returns home.
