Description:
"Arpa-colla," a Greek term meaning "grab and stick," describes the rushed and ultimately flawed process of two main characters in this film. Giorgos, a director, and Kostas, a prize-winning author with communist ideals, are determined to make a movie for the big screen. However, their aspirations are constantly derailed. Each time they share an idea, it shifts, evolving into something entirely new – ranging from political films to historical dramas and even modern stories about motorcycle gangs. A spirited, if somewhat chaotic, effort reflecting the burgeoning energy of Greek cinema in the early 1980s, emerging from a period of creative stagnation in the 1970s.
