Description:

Nate Shepherd, in his late 40s, and Jenny Sparks, in her early 30s, meet at a New York restaurant. Both strangers, each having a difficult day while waiting for someone, they discover they are both expecting to meet someone. Nate's girlfriend leaves him after he's fired from his job, and Jenny's boyfriend dies from a drug overdose. Nate's girlfriend suggests they move in together as friends to share expenses and support each other. Their friendship deepens into a complex and loving relationship.
