L’île des esclaves (2006)

A shipwreck leaves a group stranded on Slave Island, where local law dictates a bizarre status reversal: the former masters become slaves to their former slaves. Iphicrates is now a slave to Arlequin, and Euphrosin is a slave to Cléanthis. However, this forced exchange doesn't eliminate oppression; it simply shifts it to resentment and revenge. True equality can only be achieved through a change of heart – recognizing the shared humanity of everyone. This transformation begins with Arlequin, who forgives his master, restores his power, and inspires generosity in others.
