Description:
Tomomi leaves Osaka for Tokyo to attend video school, but ends up working as a hostess in a cabaret club while maintaining her relationship with her unemployed boyfriend, Akira. She receives a call from her mother, Tatsuko, back in Osaka, who tells her that her divorced father, Rokuzo, is being released from prison after six months and will be coming to Tokyo. After his release, Rokuzo visits Tatsuko and announces his plan to start a new life in Tokyo by opening a takoyaki shop. He breaks into Tomomi's apartment and discovers her job at the club. Tomomi is surprised when her father shows up as a customer. Rokuzo connects with Erika, the club's top hostess, and spends the night at her apartment. The following day, he goes to a motorboat racetrack to get money for his takoyaki shop and asks Tomomi for a loan, which she refuses. Meanwhile, Tatsuko becomes involved with Tsutomu, a customer at the bar, and decides to remarry.
