Closed Circuit (2000)

The film centers on a thin woman with short, dark hair working at a white desk in a small, white office cubicle. A wide-angle lens distorts the view from above and beside her, bending straight lines and creating an illusion of great depth within the limited space. This forty-minute video by Bacher presents stills extracted from documentary footage, arranged as a sequence.
