Description:
For six months, a crew of 13 people travel across the United States in two Dodge Ram vans and an equipment truck, documenting the final Black Flag tour in 1986, the "In My Head" US tour. This road documentary captures behind-the-scenes moments and live performances from Black Flag, Painted Willie, and Gone. Drummer and singer for Painted Willie, David Markey, filmed the entire six-month journey with his Super-8 camera. The film also features roadie Joe "Planet Joe" Cole, soundmen Davo Claasen and Dave "Ratman" Levine, and tour manager Mitch Bury. It chronicles a pivotal moment in American underground rock and the end of an influential band's era. Shot in 1986 and completed in 1991 for We Got Power. (futuristika.org)
