Our Private Lives (2007)

After a long online romance, Milena and Philip decide to meet in person. Milena, a Bulgarian immigrant living in Montreal for over ten years, agrees to host her correspondent Philip, a charming photographer from Sofia, at a secluded cottage in the Quebec countryside. As they spend time together, navigating cultural differences and physical intimacy, they explore the potential for a deeper connection. However, unsettling and inexplicable occurrences begin to disrupt their peaceful intimacy, leading to growing secrecy and silence.
