The Lord (2024)

Facing a housing crisis, Vic finds refuge in a rundown house shared by members of a metal band. Her initial relief quickly fades as she discovers the house is far from habitable. It's off the grid, with a temperamental shower, holes in the ceiling, and strange plants growing everywhere. Adding to the discomfort is Terry, a housemate who seems completely unfazed by the conditions. But Vic's problems go beyond the dilapidated state of the house: she's plagued by nightmares caused by a loud, unsettling noise coming from a locked room, and she increasingly feels like something within the house is watching her – and getting hungry.
