Then, the Fog (2025)

For over twenty years, César has worked as a watchman at a chemical factory. One day, he receives a letter from his sister informing him that she has sold the family land in the mountains. César quits his job and travels there to retrieve an urn containing the ashes of Elena, buried on the property. The journey forces him to confront years of suppressed grief. His childhood landscape has been altered by forest fires and encroaching development. Yet, the people he meets along the way open his eyes to a world he had shut out while trapped in his routine.
