Description:
Xin lived a quiet life in Macau as a teenager, documenting the everyday world with her video camera. Her world shifted when she met Fei, a senior from school who introduced her to a different kind of life. At 22, Xin moved to Taiwan, studying journalism and sharing a life with her girlfriend, Qing. Though seemingly ordinary, she faced uncertainty about her future after graduation. Wanting to stay in Taiwan, she struggled with obstacles, while returning to Macau meant confronting her family. By 34, Xin was constantly traveling between Hong Kong and Macau. Feeling trapped in a supporting role, she was pushed by her actress girlfriend, Bei, to pursue independence. Balancing external pressures and internal struggles, Xin ultimately discovers that embracing authenticity and freedom might be the key to finding peace.
