Lalo (2024)

Born in Buenos Aires in 1932, Lalo Schifrin's musicality was inherent, growing up surrounded by musicians in his family. He received classical training but developed a passion for jazz as a teenager. At twenty, he traveled to France on a scholarship to the National Conservatory. After this exceptional education, he achieved widespread recognition with a significant body of work performed globally, encompassing film, television scores, and jazz and classical compositions. From his home in Beverly Hills, we explore his life through his music, using his compositions to guide us on a journey of memory and emotion.
