Ruletista (2024)

Two dancers explore an empty apartment, utilizing the space for movement and stretching. Outside the window, they overlook Vienna's Alterlaa housing project, a self-contained city. Life feels unclear against the backdrop of the concrete architecture and green terraces; the manufactured happiness feels stifling. An elderly woman moves slowly through the complex, seemingly trying to escape her past. The housing project, home to 9000 residents, offers everything imaginable, a source of both excitement and despair.
