Loop Line (2024)

In Mumbai, a middle-aged Maharashtrian housewife silently copes with her husband's controlling behavior and the endless demands of housework. She escapes into vivid fantasies. Though she briefly finds respite when he leaves for work, his return with sexist colleagues destroys her peace. Following a particularly hurtful comment, she imagines serving them "brain pakoras" made from her own brain. These fantasies are her only refuge from the routine of her domestic life, but they are fleeting. She must quickly return to her daily duties, mirroring the relentless, unnoticed rhythm of the city's local trains.
