Madame Ida (2024)

In the early 1950s, fifteen-year-old Cecilia, an orphan, becomes pregnant after being assaulted by the orphanage warden. To hide her pregnancy, she is sent to live with Ida, a woman eager to adopt, at her secluded mansion with her longtime maid, Alma. The three women develop a close connection, finding comfort in each other's company as they cope with loneliness and longing. But the baby's arrival brings unexpected difficulties that test their newfound harmony.
