Description:
Inside Israel's Central Prison, a corrupt security officer profits by trading drugs and exploiting tensions between Jewish and Arab inmates. Uri, serving a 12-year sentence for armed robbery, and Issan, imprisoned for 50 years on PLO charges, are respected leaders within their respective cells. When Arabs are falsely accused of murdering a Jewish prisoner, and a young inmate takes his own life rather than lie, Uri and Issan forge an unexpected alliance, orchestrating a prison-wide strike. Prison authorities attempt to crush the rebellion. Meanwhile, Uri's daughter and Issan's wife represent the world beyond the prison walls – women filled with beauty and passion, separated from their loved ones by bars.
