Mirage: Metanoia – Prelude (2023)

This film, the first in a series exploring different ways of understanding reality, is presented as an animated short reminiscent of Hanna-Barbera and early Disney. Set in the distant future, it depicts a conversation between two cosmologists about the possibility of God within atoms. The story connects particle physics with Malay-Indonesian Sufi philosophy, showing them as different approaches to finding the spiritual in the physical world. The film suggests that Western science is just one way of understanding the universe among many.
