Baras (2009)

Arturas Barysas-Baras was a multifaceted artist and musician from Vilnius, known for leading the avant-garde band "And Everything What Is Beautiful Is Beautiful." Some dismissed him as a vagrant, while others saw him as a champion of freedom, sharing creative works with the world. A prominent figure in the Soviet Lithuanian underground, he fearlessly expressed his desire for liberty during a time when it was suppressed. However, the collapse of the Soviet system left him adrift, as he struggled to find meaning outside of any structured system, even one claiming to be liberal. Five years after his death, his closest friends reunite to explore who Baras truly was and how his beloved Vilnius has changed in his absence.
