Section 753.2 (2009)

In 1999, Richard Condo, already with a criminal record, was arrested in Ottawa and charged with multiple offenses. He was subsequently subject to a Dangerous Offender Application under Canadian law. Ultimately deemed not a danger to society, Condo received an eight-year prison sentence followed by a ten-year long-term supervision order. Released from prison in 2006, he faced intense media scrutiny and societal prejudice due to his past. Inspired by true events, the film explores Condo's struggle to rebuild his life and confronts the question of whether redemption is possible for someone with such a history.
