In May 1949, in Wilanów, she was ordered to drive an American tractor – Poland didn't have its own yet. While driving, she became distracted and crashed into a wall. This event was later portrayed in the TV series *Dom*. However, the series used actress Ewa, played by Joanna Pacuła. In reality, the photos were taken of Magdalena Figur, who was the tractor driver on the poster, unaware that this machine would profoundly impact her life. She had been fascinated by vehicles since childhood, often watching her father. In February 1949, she eagerly enrolled in a tractor driver training course.
